LifeLock is a personal identity and fraud protection company founded in 2005. LifeLock is based in Tempe, Arizona. It is now serving tens of thousands of customers in different states of the union, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. LIfeLock is backed up by Bessemer Venture Partners and is in partnership with Better Business Bureau and TrustE. Their services include helping customers putting fraud alerts at credit bureaus and claiming damages in the incident of identity theft.

Fred Thompson, former US Senator and a 2008 Presidential candidate taped a radio spot for LifeLock as a part of his ABC contract. In these commercials, he describes a story of military heroism in Iraq. Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh and Paul Harvey have all been celebrity spokesperson for Lifelock

LifeLock’s current CEO, Todd Davis has gained popularity when he prominently displays his Social Security Number in an advertisement as a proof that the system works in protecting him from Identity Theft.

Identity Theft and Identity Fraud Explained. The threats pose by identity theft and identity fraud is what gave birth to LifeLock. But what is identity theft and identity fraud? These are terms used in referring to all types of criminal activities wherein someone wrongfully get hold and uses somebody else’s personal data for fraud and deception usually done for economic gains. Unlike you fingerprints that are exclusive to you and cannot be given to someone else for use, personal information such as you Social Security Number, credit card and bank account details, or even your telephone number can be used by another person to personally profit at your cost. The fraud or deception can range from acquiring a credit card, renting an apartment, or setting up a telephone account in your name. A victim’s losses can range from financial out-of-the-pocket losses to criminal charges in worst cases.

Regrettably these crimes can be committed unnoticed. The victim will just be shocked when they review their credit reports stating unauthorized charges often involving big amounts of money. There are many different ways on how personal data lands in the hands of criminals. Some of them are:

(1) Trash. Bills, pre-approved credit card and bank statements are all full of necessary information to steal a person’s identity.

(2) Skimming. This uses a special storage device use to steal numbers of credit and debit cards while doing a transaction.

(3) Phishing. This is an internet base stealing usually in the form of pop ups often asking for personal and financial information.

(4) Stealing. Thieves can obtain your personal data even prior to you dumping them in your trash cans, they steal them right out of your mailboxes. Stealing purses and wallets are like gold mining for identity thieves.

(5) Pretexting. In this, somebody poses as someone representing a telephone company or other organizations coaxing for information out of unsuspecting subjects.

Fraud Alerts The goal of fraud alert is to confirm that the person doing the transaction or is even using your name is really you. With fraud alerts in place, they must verify identities before they can process requests like issuing new credit, arranging loans, increasing credit lines and creating new accounts for utilities.

One of these days, I will definitely go to my favorite top ten vacation destinations in the Caribbean. It is about time for me to relax and take a little time off. I guess working for long hours really did pay off. I saved enough money to cover my expenses for my vacation to the islands of dreams. In a week, I will be off in a cruise ship to the Caribbean. I can’t wait to visit my favorite top vacation islands in the Caribbean.

On the first place of my list of top ten vacation destinations in the Caribbean would be the Cayman Islands. I will be thrilled to explore its underwater scenery and see the various exotic fishes like the stingray and many more. The next would be snorkeling in one of the world’s largest coral reef in the island of Turks and Caicos. Afterwards, go diving in the Bahamas and marvel at the abundance of marine species.

After my underwater escapades, my next adventure will be to explore the Bermuda islands. To be able walk on its creamy white beaches and marvel at the sight of lush green trees and limestone walls tumbled with vines, is wonderful. It is a marvelous to see the green colored waves as they splash on the seashore.

Next stop would be an island of St. Lucia which most calls “simply beautiful”. Exploring its lush mountains and sulfur volcano is a landscape truly breathtaking. It has vast hectares of rain forest which provides a habitat for many exotic animals which is truly amazing.

Afterwards, I will visit Jamaica the land of the reggae music. Not only that, it has a beautiful scenery like the rain forest and rivers. Next on my list would be Islands with historical and architectural appeal and the first place to go to is definitely San Juan in Puerto Rico. The Spanish colonial influence could be best seen in design of their buildings and the cobblestoned streets add a complimentary effect, which makes the place even more appealing.

I surely would also visit the island of Curacao which is famous for its Dutch colonial buildings. Looking at them, I can’t help but compare it to Amsterdam. After Curacao I need to visit one more colonially influenced culture and that is the island of Barbados. Their culture is greatly influenced by the British. Their monuments, streets, buildings and even their sports have a British influence.

Last stop of my tour to top ten vacation destinations in the Caribbean would end at the Dominican Republic. It is considered one of the oldest Caribbean Cities. It also has the regions tallest mountains and it has a white sand beach that could stretch on for miles.

The Caribbean is a very spectacular place. It offers not only stunning sceneries but it also adds a sense of adventure when go on exploring its vast regions. The place has a rich and diverse culture. It has history as well as architecture. The people are very cordial and hospitable and they have marvelous resorts and amenities. There are many Islands to choose from and so far I have mentioned only ten of those. Maybe the others have something different to offer.

There is uncertainty in life and insurance is designed to lessen the burden of this uncertainty. The principle of operation is simple, the insurer pays the medical costs of the insured (you) if the insured becomes sick due to covered causes like disease, disability, accident etc. In return the insured (you) pays a monthly or annual premium (a monetary amount usually around 200 dollars a month, however the exact amount varies according to the insurance plan purchased) to the insurer. As a general rule, the larger number of people in the insurance group, the lesser is the premium. This is due to the distribution of costs.

Blue Cross Insurance is an insurance company providing health insurance in the United States and Canada. The company was started by a university president Justin Ford Kimball. It started out in a very humble way as hospital care for school teachers in Dallas in 1929. The premium was only 6 dollars a year! Within 10 years of its formation the company symbol was adapted by the American Hospital Association. Presently one of every three American is covered by Blue Shield or Blue Cross making them the largest health care provider in the United States.

Presently Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association is a trade organization linking 38 independent regional health insurance companies in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. It achieved its present form in 1982 after the merger of Blue Cross association and the national association of Blue Shield plans.

Their plans are very closely linked to managed health care in the United States. The association is also the administrator for Social Security in a large number of states. Traditionally they provide hospital coverage and Blue Shield provides medical coverage.

In different states Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies have different names. The names of the companies are Wellpoint, Carefirst, Healthcare service corporation, Highmark, Premera, The Regence Group, Wellmark, Blue Cross Blue Shield of various states, La Cruz Azul de Puerto Rico, Triple-S (in Puerto Rico) and The Canadian Association of Blue cross Plans ( In Canada).

It is very important to read all the fine print of the insurance plans as health insurance is usually required in cases of emergencies like accidents or during illness. During such a situation it would come as a nasty surprise if you find out a particular clause which denies insurance. Also the important phone numbers should be noted down for such emergencies.

As strange as it might sound wholesale video games are not the only ones in price discounts for us as sellers on the Internet. Shockingly you can even go online and go to the number auction site on the planet, type wholesale bomb and even get results as of this moment of writing! Believe it, the wholesale definition itself has gotten way out of proportion itself. So what is really wholesale to start?

If even popular encyclopedias online define it as a sale of goods or the resale of goods to the broad amount of potential list of clients as Industrial, commercial among others, can everyone put a wholesale stamp sticker in a local retail shop or on Internet sites right now claim wholesaling victory? Yes they can, at least in my Puerto Rican USA territory they can whether it is new or a used unit or item.

So this may very well be deceiving if customers do not get a lower price from the unit book value or market current value if price is higher than current average costs. So how do we know what is really wholesale? Whether it is wholesale video games, wholesale audio or the famously known wholesale panties niche, you need to be able to turn a profit in a simple way after buying the item from the source in order to consider it wholesale.

If we were to technically follow word for word the wholesale definition as for example your wholesale games hot resale clearance deal, you must sell below current market value and of course even sell it below current country book value in order to really be considered a wholesale transaction.

If you go online and type anything that has this kind of wholesale stamp, you will clearly know that many items in such sites cannot be purchased a later on be resold for a higher price in order to turn a profit. This totally sounds as simple 1,2,3 mathematics, but is really not that simple if you are a starter. Internet is not what it were 5 and 10 years ago.

The most recent question from one of my own people stating, that she needs to know sources for ordering Halo 3 at pre-order with wholesale prices as she has a video store and where can she find such wholesale video games at greater prices. Sorry to reminder, it cannot happen with 50-60% in game discounts and if it does happen- definitely not the usual. Someone is losing in such case.

I recently graduated from college in April, and I’m very interested in Puerto Rico. Because of my studies, I couldn’t afford the Study Abroad program. I’ve been studying Spanish since I was 12, and I’d say I’m rather fluent, although I’m a stronger reader/writer than I am a speaker. I want to continue my growth in Spanish, and I’m seeking a change so I can interact more with others who speak a language other than English. How would I go about getting the opportunity to live in PR? Do you know of any grants that may be provided to pay for a few of my expenses? What are the most frugal yet safe places to live in order to become a stronger Spanish speaker (but also provide enough English guidance if I relapse in the speaking aspect)? My degree’s in Accounting, yet I love music and art. Do you know of any jobs that may be suitable for me(jobs that speak both English and Spanish)? What else should I be aware of? Any help is greatly appreciated, and no sarcastic replies, please.
Read more about this and other topics related to bride and groom gifts

Every year at this time, in December the entire mood of everyone changes, all are happy, everyone has a smile on their face and there are greetings all around that’s the change that Christmas brings to each and every one of us the joy and the happiness all are a very important part of the Christmas spirit.

But there is one more thing that is a very essential part of the Christmas spirit that are the Christmas songs or better known as the carols, you can hear them coming out of every Christian house and church during the Christmas season.

Just to describe few of the most popular Christmas songs.

“Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”

It was written by J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie, and was first sung on Eddie Cantor’s radio show in November 1934. It is a beautiful song, and beautifully sung aimed especially at children but there would be no one who does not like this song. With a beautiful melody “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” everyone is filled with joy whenever they here this song.

The song is often used to tell children that Santa knows when they’ve been bad or good and that they should be good.

“Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”

The lyrics of the song are quite an irony to the situation when the song was written. It was written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in 1945. It was written in July 1945 in Hollywood, California during one of the hottest days on record. “Let It Snow!” has been covered countless times. Due to its seasonal lyrics, it is commonly regarded as a Christmas song. Yet despite its cheery, holiday feel, it is a love song that never mentions Christmas and both the composer and lyricist were Jewish. But the cheerful feel of the song is enough to make it a Christmas song.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph is a character created in a story and song by the same name. The story was created by Robert L. May in 1939. Johnny Marks decided to adapt May’s story into a song, which through the years has been recorded by many artists. The song tells the tale of Santa Claus’s ninth and lead reindeer who possesses an unusually red-colored nose that gives off its own light, powerful enough to illuminate the team’s path through inclement weather. Now Rudolph has become a figure of Christmas folklore.

“Jingle Bells”

It is one of the best known and commonly sung winter songs in the world. It was written by James Lord Pierpont (1822-1893) and copyrighted under the title “One Horse Open Sleigh” on September 16, 1857. Despite being inextricably connected to Christmas, it is not specifically a Christmas song. The entire song gives a fast and a melodious sound that stay in our minds for long even after the song is over. In some versions the tempo of the song keeps on increasing as the songs is continuously sung.

“Feliz Navidad”

Feliz Navidad is a Christmas song written in 1970 by the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Jos? Feliciano. With its simple Spanish chorus (the traditional Christmas/New Year greeting, “Feliz Navidad, pr?spero a?o y felicidad” or “Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year “) and equally simple English verse (“I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart “), it has become a classic Christmas pop song

These songs may be very old songs but it the spirit with which it is sung every year at Christmas time that keeps these songs alive, all these songs and many more bring out the exact feeling of happiness, joy and cheerfulness that goes through our minds in the Christmas season
About the Author: Read more about this and other topics related to mom rox
